EDITORIAL SUPPORT: Gene Marshall
When we packaged the life story of Gene Marshall, we contracted copyeditors and proofreaders to make sure every word was perfect, even if Gene was literally a fashion doll and her entire life was fiction.
What we did:
- Collaborated with the authors to tell the story
- Oversaw the copy-editing and proof-reading team
- Designed the cover and interior of the lavishly-illustrated book
- Concocted fake publications and mastheads
- Held Gene’s hand when necessary
- Bade Gene adieu when she retired in 2010 and moved to Italy
